History:
Diana was kept with another male adult sun bear called "Ronnie". Both of them were rescued from the View Top Resort, Tawau, South-East coast of Sabah in July of 2013. Their owners said that they had been keeping the two bears together in a small cage with a concrete floor, and displaying them to the public at View Top Resort, Tawau. They were fed with rice and fruits.

Upon her arrival at the BSBCC, Diana was in a bad condition. She had an old injury hole on the right of her snout, bald patches on the back of her head and unhealthy gums due to fighting with Ronnie in her previous surrounding. Diana is a sensitive bear and made warning sounds to show her displeasure at the presence of humans on her first day at the BSBCC. She has been moved from the bear house to quarantine for special care due to her health condition.

Personality:
Diana does not like to climb, so she spends more time on the ground. Diana is a curious bear. She would sit beside the door and investigate her neighbour. Diana does not like complex enrichment. However, a simple enrichment gunny sacks can make her happy and always her favourite toy. She would lift the gunny sack with four paws and also tear it with her sharp claws. She can play with it for a few days.

Diana is a foodie, not picky at all. She will always check when the food comes. However, Diana does not like waiting for food. She will tap and request the keeper to be faster. After eating, she likes to curl up and rest at the corner.

Her tongue hanging out of her mouth.
