Application procedure
1. Application form
Find out about the availability of a programme by filling out the application form. This form will ask for your personal details, including experience and health conditions.
This application must be submitted at least 1 months prior to your intended start date.
Failing to comply with the submission deadline will result in auto-disqualification.
The minimum commitment of our volunteer/ internship program is two weeks (14 days). At the same time, we might also receive other applicants too (first come first serve, for those who submitted their application form).
Documents needed to attach to the application form:
Curriculum vitae (CV)
A recent photo of yourself
Copy of IC
Additional document for internship application (for internship student)
Support letter/ internship letter from the related institution
2. Online interview
Once we have received your application form, we will contact you and you will be given a time and date for an online interview to be conducted. If you pass this interview, we will send you a confirmation and acceptance to be a volunteer.
Scholarship
Every Malaysian intern or volunteer is also eligible for a scholarship under BSBCC. The scholarship would include a waiver of the volunteering fee, accommodation under BSBCC and transportation to BSBCC.
Compulsory for all volunteers
Comprehensive insurance coverage. Proof of insurance to be provided along with flight details;
Vaccinations – Tetanus, Hepatitis A & B, Tuberculosis (doctor’s note to certify clean bill of health)
