FMU10 Community Kg. Kaingaran Programme

On 16th March 2025, BSBCC had the pleasure of joining a local community programme at Kampung Kaingaran, Tambunan, Sabah, organized by the Sabah Forestry Department.

Together with our partners — the Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre (SOURC) and Orangutan Appeal UK (OAUK) — we set up interactive exhibition booths to engage with over 50 participants from the local community.

The event focused on raising awareness about the importance of forest conservation, and how protecting our natural environment benefits not just wildlife, but also the livelihoods and well-being of local communities.

Thank you to everyone who took part and made this programme a success!

Together, we can make a difference.
