RUDY
AGE: 5 Years Old

SEX: Female

MEANING OF NAME: The name Rudy means ‘Famous wolf’. Even though Rudy may not have wolf-like characteristic she is definitely destined for great things.

HISTORY: Rudy originated from Papar and was kept as an illegal pet. She was then confiscated and was handed over to Lok Kawi Wildlife Park in March 2021. When she was first found, she was anxious but generally in good health. After over a year with LKWP, she was transferred to BSBCC for rehabilitation purposes. 

PERSONALITY:  Rudy is rambunctious, relentless, restless, random and remarkable. When she first arrived, she conveyed herself as the quiet and shy bear. However, CCTV during the night time and when her keepers were not around showed that she is a ball full of energy! Slowly, she has started to feel comfortable with her new home and her true colours have started shining through.

She is a Hulk in a little bear body as she’s able to destroy every furniture given to her within a day. She would randomly get the zoomies and start running around playing with any random thing that would catch her attention.

She is still in the process of getting used to her new environment so we hope the best and hopefully she will be able to be released into our forest enclosure soon enough!
