Our partners

The Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre is a joint project run by:

Sabah Wildlife Department (SWD)
​is responsible for the care of the sun bears. They donated the original bear house building and assist with on-going veterinary care and support in confiscating and relocating additional captive bears when necessary.

Sabah Forestry Department (SFD)
​is responsible for managing the forest reserves and have donated 5 acres of land to the project so far.

LEAP (Land Empowerment Animals People) facilitate fundraising for BSBCC, managing finances, preparing reports and fundraising proposals.

Wong Siew Te 
​is the Chief Executive Officer & Founder of the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre. He founded the Centre in 2008 and is the drive behind the project.
