Visiting groups are usually given presentations and talks about the centre and Sun Bear conservation achievements, with detailed introductions, briefings on Do's and Don‘ts during their visits, and mini activities. The visits usually end with a tour to the platform to observe the rescued bears in their natural forest enclosures. We hope the groups had a great time here and gained new knowledge about Sun Bears, while helping us to spread awareness by sharing experiences with their friends and family. Thanks goes out to all of the school and organization groups for their visits, support, and donations to BSBCC.

UMS Sandakan CSR Landscaping Project
On 9th of March 2019, a group of 55 students from Faculty of Sustainable Agriculture of University of Malaysia Sabah came to BSBCC to carry out the first phase of their CSR work on a landscaping project at BSBCC. The students participated in several minor maintenance jobs, making some changes and planting new plant saplings around the centre perimeter. It is expected the group will come again to carry out the next phase. And of course, before starting the work, the students also seized the chance to observe the sun bears in their enclosures. BSBCC would love to express our sincere gratitude to the UMS students for the generous landscaping project.
